Geology and geophysics: forecast of Gazprom’s feedstock base development; geology of oil and gas bearing provinces; field prospecting and exploration, including shelf fields; geological and geophysical modeling of the development targets.

Field development and operation and hydrocarbon production: long-term forecast of hydrocarbon production, design and analysis of development of gas, gas condensate and oil- gas condensate fields, including shelf fields; well construction, operation and workover; hydrocarbon production and field conditioning technologies.

Development of offshore HC fields: offshore field development design; designing offshore oil and gas hydraulic facilities and engineering systems for the development targets.

Underground gas storage (UGS): geological substantiation of UGS construction; UGS technological designing; UGS operation.

Gas transmission via trunk pipelines and UGSS reliability: technologies of gas transmission via trunk pipelines; development and reconstruction of gas transmission systems; repair and technical maintenance of gas pipelines; lifetime, reliability and industrial safety of the gas industry facilities; system risks and sustainability of the Russian UGSS.

Gas processing: gas and liquid hydrocarbon processing technologies; working out concept of development programs for Gazprom’s facilities processing hydrocarbon raw materials; designing gas, condensate and oil processing units.

Design and pioneering activities:  geologic and field development investigations; enhancing reliability of construction and operation of wells and gas transmission systems; mathematical modeling; spectroscopic studies; environmental monitoring; drawing up regulatory and methodical documents for risk analysis and management at oil & gas and chemical facilities; carrying out industrial safety expert reviews.
