Quality Management System

GAZPROM VNIIGAZ has worked out and implemented the Quality Management System on the basis of ISO 9001:2000 requirements. The Quality Management System is not only a means to enhance competitiveness, but also an efficient management tool, a means to constantly improve the main activity of the Institute.

GAZPROM VNIIGAZ is a subsidiary company of Gazprom and, thus, its mission is to scientifically and technically support Gazprom’s development and assist Gazprom in gaining the leading position in the world power industry.

The GAZPROM VNIIGAZ’s strategic aim is to achieve the status of a world leading scientific-technical and engineering centre, which coordinates and manages projects of setting up and developing fuel and energy industry facilities all over the world with the help of high technologies.

The quality policy is based on the mission and strategic aims and is approved by the general director of GAZPROM VNIIGAZ.

GAZPROM VNIIGAZ’s activity is based on the process approach and consists of interconnected and interactive processes, which are subject to monitoring, analysis and management aimed at constant quality improvement of both individual processes and the Quality Management System.

The Quality Management System in GAZPROM VNIIGAZ is:

• Careful investigation into customers’ needs and complete fulfillment of their requirements;
• Accurate identification of personnel responsibility, authority and interaction;
• Qualified personnel, dedicated to constant skill development and aware of the importance of the personal input in improving quality;
• Viable and efficient management system.

In August, 31 2007 the Certificate of Compliance of the Quality Management System with ISO 9001:2000 was solemnly handed in. E.I. Chernov, general director of the Russian representative office of Det Norske Veritas (Norway), the international certification body, came to congratulate GAZPROM VNIIGAZ workers with this achievement. He accomplished a pleasant mission and handed in the Certificate of Compliance to R.O. Samsonov, general director of GAZPROM VNIIGAZ.

At the ceremony of handing in the Certificate (from left to right): R.O. Samsonov, general director of GAZPROM VNIIGAZ, A.B. Skrepnyuk, deputy general director, E.I. At present the Institute is working on expanding the Quality Management System Certificate.
